Why won’t my samsung vibrant connect to my pc?
I downloaded a program called Samsung Kies which is supposed to sync files from my computer to phone
I’m running a 64-bit version of windows 7
i tried configuring the usb settings on the phone to mass storage and samsung kies along with turning on usb debugging already
i get the error whenever i plug my phone to my pc that says “USB device not recognized” or something like that
through the samsung kies program i already installed drivers and the program says that its up to date but still no luck
im freaking frustrated and out of options, is it my computer that’s the problem or my phone?
Ok, So I was having this same problem. After the 2.2 (froyo) I had no problems connect then all of a sudden I was getting the same error you are getting. I did a little research and found out that it’s not your computer or your phone thats the problem, it’s the software. I had to completely delete Kies from my computer and reinstall it. After about 3 tries (uninstalling and reinstalling) it finally recognized my phone. I hope this helps!!
