Samsung 19000 Galaxy S and iPhone are the newest and greatest phones released till now. These two phones does look exactly same from the out-side, but very different from the in-side.
We’ll first talk about the size.
❄ Samsung 19000 Galaxy S – 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9mm – 119 g
❄ iPhone 4 – 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3mm – 137 g
The size are looks pretty much the same in photos. Samsung is bigger than iPhone 4, but has a smaller screen. We are now talking about the display.
❄ S19000GS – 480 x 800 pixels
❄ iPhone 4 – 640 x 960 pixels
S19000GS has a smaller screen than the iPhone 4 like I said before. Both has the same colours, 16 M. The touchscreen type is different.
❄ S19000GS – Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
This means Super Active-Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode. In simple words ‘The screen is LCD’
Here are some advantages from it.
1. Brighter screen
2. Less sunlight reflection
3. Reduced power consumption
❄ iPhone 4 – TFT capacitive touchscreen
TFT means thin film transistor. TFT capacitive touchscreen is a new technology which also work on electrical conductivity. With human skin conducts electricity lightly and capacitive touchscreens discharge minute amounts of electricity and measure a touch response and bla bla bla..
If you talk about sound, both are same. You cannot find any differences between them. Yes, it’s like they are twins.
Memory. Both are same, but SI9000GS can keep unlimited call records. (Yea, kinda annoying). You get 32GB memory with the iPhone 4, but Samsung does not. They only give you up-to 16GB. If you want more then you must buy a MicroSD slot. Oh, I forgot. You cannot add any MicroSD slots to iPhone 4.
In Data, iPhone has Class 10 GPRS and EDGE, but the Samsung has Class 12. The bluetooth version is new in the Samsung. Others are pretty much the same.
We are now talking about camera. You get a LED flasher with the iPhone 4. Oh, and geo-tagging (I really don’t know what that means). Those two are the only differences in Camera you can find between the two phones.

In SI9000GS, you can Instant Massage and hear to the radio. In iPhone 4 you cannot find those but can find motion based games, tennis, bowling etc.
You can find Black colour in both phones. White colour is got by the iPhone 4 and SI9000GS got the grey colour. iPhone 4 does not have Java, but it has TV Out (You connect your iPhone to the TV and can watch iPhone videos in the TV). The Samsung has that too. You has a document editor (word) in the Samsung. Stand by-time is good in the Samsung, but the talking time isn’t. iPhone wins it.
